- My Open Nest
- After raising three great kids I'm moving into an Open Nest season of my life. This means it's not quite empty, yet seems to have a revolving door with our three young adult children coming in and out with many friends. I love a nest full of activity as much as I love a quiet evening with my husband. I love cooking, reading, birding, gardening, and working as a floral designer. It's always fun getting paid to do what you love and I've got the best job in the world. There's nothing like being part of a bride's special day, or comforting a family as they grieve the loss of a dear one. The by-line in my business is "Flowers for Life's Events" and we specialize in customizing special events for families. I'm a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ and give him all the glory for my life. I want to glorify Him in all I do and enjoy Him forever above all else.
